Aiming at the monotony of traditional risk evaluation method of electric power communication network, a comprehensive method for evaluating risk of electric power communication network is presented. The risk evaluation method analyzes the link risk status based on the operational services, and calculates the link weight by means of analyzing the importance of link to network from the perspective of topology, and then the two risk evaluation indexes: network risk and degree of risk balancing of network can be calculated by combining link risk and link weight. An electric power communication network model is built for simulation according to a basic network composed of eight nodes and twelve links, and the simulation results show that the risk evaluation indexes are effective and accurate, can provide a considerable basis for the risk control, and have practical significance and extensive application prospects in risk management.
