    摘要:

    针对电压源变流器中功率器件的开路故障问题,通过分析变流器三相电流的固有模态分量特征,提出了一种基于瞬时频率的变流器开路故障检测方法。首先采用经验模态分解理论获取三相交流电流中的开关模态分量。然后通过希尔伯特变换得到开关模态分量的瞬时频率,利用开路故障前后开关模态分量瞬时频率特征变化对功率器件的开路故障进行检测。最后在PSCAD/EMTDC中搭建柔性直流互联系统仿真模型进行了验证。仿真结果表明,利用开关模态分量瞬时频率特征能够在几个开关周期内快速地检测出单个或多个故障功率管,而且在功率调整和潮流反转时具有较好的动态检测性能。

    Abstract:

    Given the problem of an Open-Circuit (OC) fault of power devices in Voltage Source Converters (VSC), a novel OC fault detection method for VSC using instantaneous frequency characteristics is proposed. First, the modal components contained in the three-phase AC current of the VSC are analyzed, and the Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) method is used to extract the switching modal components in the three-phase current. Secondly, the instantaneous frequency of the switching modal component is obtained through Hilbert transform so as to detect the OC fault of the power device by the change of the instantaneous frequency characteristics of the switching modal component before and after the OC fault. Finally, the simulation model of a three-terminal VSC interconnection system is built in PSCAD/EMTDC to verify the proposed method. The simulation results show that the proposed method can quickly detect the single or multiple OC fault of a power module in VSC within several switching periods. The method has robust detection performance during power adjustment and power flow reversal.
