    摘要:

    为了解决模块化多电平变流器(Modular Multilevel Converters, MMC)现有模型预测控制方法寻优计算量大的问题,以上、下桥臂插入个数为控制变量,以并网电流和桥臂环流为控制目标,提出基于优化控制集的模型预测控制新方法。在子模块电容电压理想状态下建立并网电流误差目标函数,通过初步预测寻优,确定上、下桥臂电压矢量准确工作区间。考虑子模块电容电压波动,设计上、下桥臂插入个数优化控制集,求取电压矢量区间内最优上、下桥臂插入子模块个数。同时设置自适应调节因子,可根据子模块电压波动幅度自动调整优化控制集边界条件,确保有限寻优次数内最优上、下桥臂插入子模块个数的准确求取。所提出的控制策略寻优计算量从(N+1)2降至(N+1+Ntotal),实现了桥臂环流的有效抑制和并网电流的准确跟踪,避免了全局寻优的大量冗余计算,有效提升了寻优效率与准确度。仿真与实验结果验证了优化控制集模型预测控制方法具有计算量小、动态响应快和稳态精度高的特点。

    Abstract:

    In order to reduce the heavy calculation of the existing Model Predictive Control (MPC) for Modular Multilevel Converters (MMC), an optimized control set based model predictive control is proposed. In this paper, the number of inserted sub-module for each arms is seen as the control variables, cost function is established for AC-side current and circulating current. The optimized control sets are designed in consideration of the fluctuations of capacitor voltage. Simultaneously the adjustment factor is settled according to the fluctuation of capacitor’s voltage to adjust the optimal control set boundary, as a result, the accurate number of each arm is ensured in a limited optimal calculation. Compared with the existing predictive control strategy, control computation is reduced to (N+1+Ntotal) from (N+1)2. Then circulating current is suppressed and grid current is tracked effectively, heavy calculation of global optimization is avoided at the same time. The optimization efficiency and accuracy are improved effectively. Simulation and experimental results validate the characteristics of low computational complexity, fast dynamic response and high steady accuracy of the proposed optimized control set based MPC strategy.
