    摘要:

    针对模块化多电平换流器(Modular Multilevel Converter, MMC)直流侧发生短路故障时换流站闭锁前桥臂过电流的抑制问题,提出了一种采用桥臂电抗器耦合的过电流抑制新方法。该方法不仅有效抑制故障电流,还能够改善系统的稳态运行。首先建立了采用桥臂电抗器耦合的MMC拓扑,阐明桥臂电抗器耦合原理。然后对该系统直流侧故障过电流进行分析,继而选取最佳的耦合系数。最后在Matlab中搭建了双端31电平系统仿真模型,分别在正常运行和故障两个阶段,将采用普通电抗器与采用耦合电抗器的系统各参数进行对比。仿真结果验证了所提方法的有效性。

    Abstract:

    For over current in converter bridge arms before blocking in case of DC short-circuit faults in MMC-HVDC system, a method based on coupled bridge arm reactors is presented, which can effectively suppress fault current, and improve the steady state operation of the system. This paper establishes the MMC-HVDC system model with coupling bridge arm reactors and expounds the coupling principle of reactors. Then fault current is analyzed and the best coupling coefficient is selected. Finally a 31-level MMC-HVDC system is established in MATLAB, and the parameters of system based on coupled bridge arm reactors are compared with that of system based on ordinary reactors in the two phases of normal operation and fault. The result shows the validity of the proposed method. This work is supported by National Key Research and Development Program of China (No. 2016YFB0900903).
