With the continuous improvement of distribution network emergency repair command business, valid distribution network fault analysis and identification strategy is important to improve the efficiency of fault emergency repair. This paper defines the technical principle of distribution network fault analysis and identification. The architecture of technical support system based on the distribution network fault analysis strategy is established. The fault identification strategy for distribution network based on layering topology model is proposed, including the customer fault, low-voltage line fault, distribution transformer fault, branch-line fault and main-line fault.
