Abstract:The optimal sizing of energy storage in micro-grid is essential for improving reliability and economic efficiency. A hybrid energy storage capacity optimization configuration strategy for micro-grid with EV scheduling is presented with consideration of construction cost, operation maintenance cost, recycling profit, environment cost and energy shortage compensation cost. The strategy takes different types of ES devices and load into consideration, to achieve economic efficiency of the constructed Hybrid Energy Storage System (HESS) through the coordination of the system output and load. Based on the reliability of power supply which satisfies the important and normal load, the optimal energy storage capacity configuration is obtained by Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) algorithm. Finally, the micro-grid project with a 20-year service life is used for comparative analysis. The results verify the effectiveness of the proposed optimization method.
