Among all of the feeder automation methods of the distribution automation system, intelligent distributed feeder automation is the fast local solution, however, the distribution network is complex and changeable, so the FA solution should be have good applicability. This paper proposes a solution of integrated intelligent distributed feeder automation based on area distribution terminal and unit distribution terminal, and states the whole process of system architecture, principle of fault location, fault isolation, service restoration and project configuration model. The experiment and practical application all certify this solution have perfect applicability.
