The fault sections location in distribution networks based on the information of the short circuit current may get false results due to the information aberrance. To solve the problem, firstly this paper classifies the information aberrance, then proposes the information contradiction theory based on the matrix algorithm to detect recognizable aberrance, analyzes the possibility of aberrant node through the Bayes theorem, and proposes the scheme of aberrance correction and fault location. This strategy can find the position of aberrant node quickly, only extract part of the fault information for correcting aberrance, and for the complex aberrance, expand fault segment appropriately to ensure the reliability of fault location. The strategy has accurate location and fast speed and high reliability. It can solve the fault location of multiple faults and multiple information aberrance in complex multiple power system.
