The paper discusses the feasibility of the application of client/sever in the Electric Power Network Dispatching Automation System, gives the mode and operating principle of two stage client/sever. In the consideration of synchronization, integrality and security of data, it produces double spare computer and double tolerant computer. Integrating the object-oriented technology and modularization design method, the functions of exchanging data between client and database servers, keeping data synchronous of double server system and keeping data synchronous between the web server and real-time database server are realized.
