This paper introduces the composition and working principle of one kind of a high-precision collective meter-reading system with power lines carrier, and its realization ways with hardware and software. The data can be transferred correctly and reliably in the electric power line by using the high-performance electric power carrier chip, the data error ratio can be decreased greatly with the CRC circle checkout and the pulse side-dithering procession, which increase the system’s precision and anti-jamming performance. The interruption procession greatly increases the real time performance of the system to the order and meet the requirement of high precision of the data collection.
