With analyzing thermic stabilization requirement of transformer and fault proof on operating,this paper indicated that interrelated problem should be thinked over in calculating of transformer protection. Some views are given on the ability of transformer protection in interphase fault.This paper also puts up a proposal for design?operating?protection scheme and setting of transformer.
